Where are Spring Courts made?
Since 1936 to present day, Spring Courts have been designed in Paris. Although originally manufactured in Paris, their production has been relocated to a family owned factory in Spain. The Southern Hemisphere however required a manufacturer in the region and one that was able to match the brand's high quality standards. This factory was located in Vietnam and provides substantial benefits based on its proximity to Australia. The company President Theodore Grimmeisen visits the factory at least 4 times a year to ensure his high standards in working conditions and quality of production are consistently met.
What is the difference between men and womens?
Not much! The men’s are slightly wider with a rounder toe box. The women’s are narrower.
What do the ‘N’ and ‘S’ stand for in the product titles?
Styles are described by the acronyms in the beginning of their titles.
N – Normal width aka Mens
S – Slim width aka Womens
G2 – Low cut
B2 – Mid cut
M2 – Silky mid cut
OL – Organic low cut
Can Spring Courts be washed?
We don’t recommend washing Spring Courts as we cannot control methods used. As a result we cannot take washed shoes back. Canvas is a little tricky as it will shrink due to the heat, so the best way is to spot-clean with a clean, damp cloth always using cold water. Never dry your Spring Courts in direct sunlight.
How do you clean nappa leather?
A regular wipe down by a soft, clean, damp cloth will keep leather cared for. For particular marks, good quality leather cleaner is a must.
How do you clean lambskin leather?
Because of the fragile nature of the leather, lambskin is highly absorbent and does not react well to moisture. If you take preventative measures, however, your lambskin sneakers should have a very long shelf life.
We recommend applying a water and stain protector every time before wearing yours, we like to use Waproo products.
Do you recommend a product to clean the rubber sole?
Cream cleaning products will wipe the dirt away. But there are specific cleaning sponges available for removing scuff marks. For any superficial marks, a pencil eraser should do the trick!
What's with the four holes?
Spring Courts are easily identified by the four ventilation holes drilled through the midsole. A patented design, these holes allow air to circulate through as you walk and keep water out.
When is the new range arriving?
